About this project

Our team is working on a service-learning project to analyze a series of disparate business processes in order to redesign into an optimized and streamlined information systems (software) solution by considering technical, user & business requirements. We will then apply a software development methodology to develop and implement the information systems (software) solution. Lastly, our team will produce a software installation support and systems users’ manual for this system.

Updates

• 8/26/24 - First day of Senior Capstone I course. This course is primarily about the technical writing aspect of the project such as Data Flow Diagrams (DFDs), Database Modeling, Documentation, Business Case, etc. | Github repo was created with general name of senior-capstone.
• 8/28/24 - Team members all agreed on a project idea. Ours being a Realtor Company website.
• 9/9/2024 - Not a key date, but this is when I decided to track the project on my portfolio/blog. 😁
• 9/14/2024 - Completed team contract and posted it to testing branch for team review and discussion. Kolson worked to get an AWS Database setup for testing and production purposes. I will need to figure out a way to add docker environment variables in order to connect to it, check out my Learning Docker post.
